Rosemary

Uses

Rosemary is an aromatic shrub typical of the Mediterranean basin, which has always been used in cooking for its unmistakable aroma and in folk medicine for its healing properties.

Flowers

As often happens with rustic and common Mediterranean plants, it is taken for granted, but it remains an important pasture for bees due to its ability to bloom several times a year. Suitable for dry climates and poor soils, it is often planted in gardens as a hedge or in pots.

The Oil

The essential oil obtained from Rosemary is extremely sunny and characterized by a high variability of the components, as depending on the area where the plant grows we can find different concentrations of substances that make up its chemical structure. After gas chromatographic analysis, we found that the rosemary we grow belongs to the camphor chemotype (CT Canphora), with a strong and intense aroma.

They are produced and marketed by Funtanamenta as Natural Flavors for Food - Reg. CE 1334 / 2008-, respecting all safety and hygiene regulations and equipped with the HACCP self-control manual.
